What To Expect
Europa Point
Embrace the mesmerizing views of North Africa across the Strait of Gibraltar, including Ceuta and the Rif Mountains of Morocco as well as the Bay of Gibraltar and the Spanish towns along its shores. There are five notable buildings to spot on this scenic photo stop, Harding's Battery, the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque, the Europa Point Lighthouse, the Nun's Well and the University of Gibraltar. Europa Point is also the location of Europa Sports Park which hosted the 2019 Island Games opening ceremony and since 2013 Europa Point has been the location of the Sikorski Memorial.

A limestone cave location at the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, once believed to be the Gates of Hades, an entrance to the underworld. Although in a complete, natural state, this cave is beautifully lit, often used for performances. Earliest writings of this cave lead back to 45AD. Learn about the complex history of the cave and its various uses throughout the ages from ancient civilizations to modern day. Immerse yourself in the mystery and wonder that surrounds this cave through the tales and legends of the past. Don’t miss out on the fallen stalagmite that became too heavy and fell thousands of years ago, which now reveals its magnificent interior structure in a most dramatic way.

Apes Den
Gibraltar is uniquely home to the only wild monkey population in the whole of Europe. A great opportunity to view our wildlife packs living on the steep slopes of the Rock. Learn all about the history of their presence on the Rock, current maintenance and all the legends that surround these curious animals. All in all, a visit to Gibraltar would certainly not be complete without having seen the Gibraltar monkeys up close. It’s an experience of a lifetime and definitely not one that should be missed!

This was a come see tour from our hotel .
It was a great day out and the guide Daniel was excellent . A tour by bus of the rock , time in the world war 2 tunnels (amazing ) and a couple of hours to ourselves . Lunch at Roy’s Fish and trips which was very good . Server Amy was great and the owner Roy was an interesting guy to speak to . A great day out was had by all .

Always wanted to see the rock x I wasn’t disappointed x people just see a rock x don’t be fooled x it’s full of history x take the Land Rover trip x £35 x you can walk if you have time x (free) pop inside for a light show a third of the way up x the caves are insane so big x I was shocked x absolutely beautiful x sit down and watch the laser show x then next stop from the war x just wow x absolutely mind blowing how they protected the rock x the noise from the cannons must of been insane x must be 100 cannons all around x a great look into how it was back in the day x then we’ll a trip isn’t complete without seeing the monkeys x so amazing how they are so tame and running free x definitely worth a visit x
